Seed Health Testing and Export Services

Our seed health testing services include testing for seed pathogens and viruses, seed treatment application verification (STAV) testing, and protein, oil and moisture (POM) analysis.

In North America we are accredited by the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) and are ISO certified. We are also accredited by USDA’s National Seed Health System (NSHS) in the USA, and we are AQIS approved for Australia.

To assist in your exports, SGS is approved for seed sampling, visual seed inspections and laboratory testing in order to substantiate the issuance of phytosanitary certificates. We can issue both ISTA Orange and Blue Certificates, providing the added security companies require when shipping seed internationally.
