Once you have completed the necessary SGS testwork to obtain the required input parameters, you can simulate your existing comminution and/or flotation circuits using IGS.
You can manipulate your operating conditions, perform basic circuit layout changes and see how these changes affect the circuits and final product quality. Such modeling will allow you to make decisions that will ensure that your operations run at peak efficiency. IGS enables a geostatistically sound mill and flotation circuit design with optimized equipment selection and an accurate prediction of power consumption.
Upon downloading the IGS software, you can draw and configure your circuit based on two data types:
Required tests vary according to your specific requirements (Greenfield or brownfield design, optimization or production forecasting). On-going development work can require additional tests or different types of tests depending on the technology.
SGS provides training workshops to teach you how to use IGS software. These include interpretation and validation of the results. These can be one-on-one and group sessions between you and SGS staff.
Partner with SGS today and run your plant at optimum efficiency with our IGS tool.
iGS in the USA
The service in which you are interested is not currently available in the USA. However, the SGS geometallurgy laboratory in Toronto is the Centre of Excellence that developed the SGS Integrated Geometallurgical Simulator (IGS) tool and from here, we can take care of your needs.
This Centre of Excellence brings together our decade of experience with metallurgical plant simulation, our extensive databases of grinding and flotation response and dozens of SGS plant benchmarks and audits. This expertise, combined with our geometallurgical service approaches that are rapidly becoming industry standards around the world, enables you to simulate various operational scenarios and choose the one that is most effective for your project – thus controlling your technical risk. Call us today to find out how we can help you.
