What is the BIFMA Compliant mark?
The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA) is a U.S. non-profit organization that aims to promote safe working environments. In March 2021 it launched an industry-wide registry of furniture that meets or exceeds rigorous performance standards. These products are awarded the BIFMA Compliant mark as proof of performance, safety and durability.
The BIFMA Compliant registry is open to manufacturers worldwide and to BIFMA members and non-members alike.
