The North American edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will cover major advances in food ingredients, marketing, and sustainable packaging. The use of new technologies to produce sustainable ingredients will be featured, as well as the growing array of green packaging options. An update will be given on sustainable agriculture, free-from foods and clean label ingredients, water impacts, GM and food labels, as well as related marketing issues.

For the first time, the agenda comprises two interactive workshops, followed by four conference sessions. Like previous editions, the summit will bring together some of the most influential organizations involved in sustainability in the food industry.

Xavier Vital, Global Environmental Services Manager & Innovation and Product Development at SGS will be presenting the workshop II "Reducing Environmental Impacts" on Wednesday 20th January 2016, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This workshop has been designed to assist consumer good firms get a better understanding of their environmental impacts with view of reducing them.
The workshop is designed for food, beverage and related firms looking to take positive steps to lower their environmental footprints.
