The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is holding a one-day seminar later this year on standards governing the flammability of children's sleepwear.

The event on 20 October at the CPSC offices in Bethesda, Maryland, will focus on testing, certification, and other compliance guidance relating to mandatory Flammable Act (FFA) standards and requirements for children's sleepwear. The seminar definitely will cover FFA standards, which mandate that all children’s sleepwear must be flame-resistant and able to self-extinguish in the event of a fire.

The seminar aims to bring together CPSC staff and stakeholders such as manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, product safety counsel, and other interested parties. So, don't miss our expert's speech, Louann Spirito, Director Technical Support, Softlines for SGS North America Inc.
