Jennifer Lott - Food Safety & Auditing Technical Manager
At SGS North America, Jennifer serves as a technical resource for GFSI approved auditing schemes, including FSSC 22000 food manufacturing, BRC Storage & Distribution, Packaging, and Consumer Products, RSPO, GMP/HACCP and is an accredited multi-sector Food Safety Program Lead Auditor and Trainer. She has over 25 years experience in quality assurance management, food safety management system development consulting, packaging, laboratory management, training and auditing. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the College of Mount St. Joseph.
Rick Chen – Technical Manager
Rick Chen joined SGS in 2017 as Technical Manager and is responsible for food contact material regulations and restricted substances including Ca Prop 65, State Chemicals and REACH/SVHC. He received a Master Degree in Chemistry from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007. After that, he has 3 years experience in the lab as a chemist to run GC/MS analysis for VOC and more than 6 years in the retail and whole sale industry to handle product compliance and quality assurance issue. He is a current ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) member for F15 on Consumer Products and D20 on Plastics.
Joanna Griffiths - Packaging Technical Manager for BRC Global Standards
Joanna received a B.Sc. (Hons) in Graphic Media Studies, specializing in Packaging and Printing and started her career in Packaging Technology in a variety of industries including toiletries, automotive and food. She joined the BRC Global Standards technical team in October 2010, with responsibility for BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials. Joanna also formed part of the working group developing the packaging benchmarking document for GFSI.
