SGS will sponsor and speak at ‘TechForum Security Forum: Trends in Enterprise Security’ in New York City on March 29, 2018.

This is the first time that SGS, a world leader in testing, inspection, certification and verification, has sponsored the twice-yearly conference aimed at top enterprise security and network infrastructure professionals.

Security Forum promotes dialogue between buyers and sellers of new and disruptive technologies around the key cybersecurity and risk management issues facing large enterprise organizations.

Edward Beesley, Global Head of Digital Services & Information Technology at SGS, will join a three-strong panel to speak on ‘Privacy Matters: How New Regulations are Restructuring Compliance and Risk Management strategies’ from 1.40-2.30pm.

With responsibility for IT operational and technical delivery for North America and for the global strategy Edward will give insight into his role and encourage delegates to act now to ensure that data is being secured and properly used.

Edward urged: “At SGS we recognize the Security Forum conference as an ideal platform to raise awareness of the increasing cyber-risk and misuse of data. Now is the time for businesses to invest in information management systems that fit their needs to avoid cyber-attacks and the loss of vital information."
The conference offers delegates the opportunity to hear real-world examples and case studies from those who have actually implemented the technology they are speaking about. Creating a platform to share experiences and offer solutions. Throughout the day a series of interactive panels and targeted presentations take place to give security managers valuable insight into the promises and pitfalls of security in the cloud.

Attendance to TechForum's Security Forum is by invitation only and is restricted to end-user IT managers who work directly for mid-size to large enterprises. Topics for panels are proposed by and voted on by TechForum members. There are no product demonstrations. Conference speakers are asked to discuss their own experiences in developing competitive and secure infrastructures.

TechForum's Security Forum: Trends in Enterprise Security takes place on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 8am to 5pm  at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 W. 18th St, NYC
