Jacob Woodard, the Upstream Technical Services Manager for SGS North America, will give a presentation on "Production Allocation Natural Gas Measurement with Differential Pressure Devices" during the Gulf Coast Gas Measurement Society (GCGMS) July 16, 2018 meeting. 

Jacob Woodard will review the usage of differential pressure (DP) devices - - common in upstream gas measurement where gas conditions are not ideal.  His presentation will review scenarios of varying conditions and their impacts on DP device measurement in production allocation.

About the SGS speaker:

Jacob Woodard is a BSME graduate from the University of Mississippi with ten years of experience in onshore and offshore hydrocarbon production operations. Jacob manages a specialized team providing volumetric measurement of single and multi-phase hydrocarbon liquids and gases for custody transfer and allocation applications. SGS manages production and fiscal allocation, phase behaviour modeling, mass and volumetric system balancing and data transfer for hydrocarbon systems.

Jacob is an active participant in API and OOC and a voting member for API CPMA. He was previously a member of the API Chapter 20.1 and 20.2 working group.
