Procurement Diversity at SGS

‘Walking the walk’ by increasing the pool of available suppliers who represent diversity is one way that SGS is honouring its commitments in procurement. SGS is well-known for innovation and for being on the leading edge of new ideas, products, and services. Being able to take the bull by the horns and pivot to adapt to any situation is one of our strengths and following established policies around recruitment of diverse suppliers is just another example of that commitment.

Accessing the suppliers who represent the diversity that we see in our communities is one way that we can support innovation and profitable growth. Success in this effort will mean that data is being collected about suppliers and how they are identified and the progress that we are making by forging those new relationships. We are monitoring the growth of the procurement spend in the diverse supplier area which will allow for us to better plan and strategize for the future.
