SGS has been approved as a Licensed Training Provider (LTP) by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB). We will begin delivering CMMC training courses in the fall of 2021.
Cybercrime cost the US economy at least $600 billion in 2017, and the cost is steadily increasing. With attackers continuing to target the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), which users more than 300,000 contractors, and the Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain, cybercrime creates a grave and drastic risk to national security.
SGS will minimize this threat by helping contractors to pass CMMC assessments. Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification was developed by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD A&S), in collaboration with key university and federally funded research centers. It is designed to protect federal contract information (FCI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI), the two types of information that most urgently require protection from cyberthreats.
DoD contractors must achieve a certain CMMC maturity level, ranging from 1 through 5, depending on the details of their relationship with the DoD. ISO 27001:2013 certified contractors can benefit from a reciprocity arrangement with CMMC, which allows this certification to be applied toward CMMC assessments.

- CCA-1 – Certified CMMC Assessor – Level 1
- CCA-3 – Certified CMMC Assessor – Level 3
All of these courses will provide in depth coverage of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model and the overall assessment process. We will soon be adding additional training offerings.
